Community Memories: Rev. Michael Murray

The year was 1969. I was in ninth grade.

One of my fondest memories is when I was the championship pitcher in a game that went literally down to the last inning, two outs, bases loaded. We beat a school called Prospect that had won at least the last five championships in softball. That was a great day in the history of Gladstone as well as in the community of Hazelwood. After the game, I was given the signed game-winning ball.
